Why do you do CrossFit?
I do CrossFit because it’s both physically and mentally challenging. Whether it’s completing a heavy lift, or controlling your mind so you don’t quit, you learn more about what you truly can do. Each day it provides me the opportunity to master skills that can easily be related to my daily activities.
What is Your Favorite CrossFit movement?
In general, my favorite thing about CrossFit is competing in a team competition with your friends and learning about new activities you a can pursue (Olympic Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Gymnastics, etc.). Going to the box daily allows you to create great friendships and participate in activities you may not have considered before.
What is Your Favorite Hobby Outside of CrossFit?
After starting CrossFitF I became more adventurous so my hobbies outside of CrossFit are unlimited. Specifically, I love trail running, practicing Ashtanga Yoga, and riding my Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
What Motivates You as a Coach?
Sharing my knowledge and experience with others and watching them complete a movement that they struggled with or could not do is what motivates me as a coach. The smile and excitement they have when they accomplish something they never thought they could do is very rewarding. It is also motivating to see how much their lives improve outside of the gym because of the proper techniques we get to teach them.
