“The Foundation has helped me reach my fitness goals by pushing me out of my comfort zone and trying things I wouldn’t normally try, before starting at the Foundation I found myself doing the things I was comfortable with and not exactly challenging. I’ve gained a lot of confidence since starting at the Foundation which has resulted in me being able to do things I never thought possible! I’ve also gained knowledge on how to lift safely and build confidence in trying new things and continue to challenge myself and pushing myself out of my comfort zone.
I would encourage a new person to try a class! Everyone is very welcoming and encouraging. There are all different types of fitness levels with options to modify for anyone, which still makes for a challenging workout. The coaches are also very knowledgeable, ensuring for a safe workout and fun atmosphere!
The Foundation has impacted me by not only gaining so many new friendships but has also pushed me out of my comfort zone to try new things! After a year of CrossFit, there’s no doubt I’ve become addicted! I’ve increased my strength tremendously, and have seen a noticeable improvement in my stamina. I’ve accomplished things I never thought I would be capable of including multiple PR’s and my very first competition! “The Foundation has helped me reach my fineness goals by broadening my fitness routine. Previously I would go to the gym and found myself repeating the same machines and exercise routines; oftentimes not challenging myself. The Foundation workouts are always unique and challenging. The combination of strength and cardio training have greatly improved my distance running without having to put all the extra miles in; this is important because I’m a busy mom of three young children.
I would tell a new person to try one class! From the second you walk into The Foundation you are surrounded by really great people. The coaching staff are very knowledgeable and are able to give individualized training although you are in a group class. I believe this was important so I was able to try new movements/skills while maintaining correct form and ensuring my safety. My 5 am class is filled with a variety of skill levels and have been some of my best cheerleaders! I have made some new lifelong friends!
It has impacted my life by giving me the courage and confidence to try new things. Since starting the foundation a year ago I have competed in my first competition, participated in a ruck, competed open and ran in a Ragnar trail race. These are some things that haven’t always been easy for me to accomplish but without my training at The Foundation, I wouldn’t have had the endurance or confidence to even attempt them! My new friends are some of the most encouraging and positive people; I get to start my day with them every day and I feel truly blessed.”
